Bowsan Property Repairs is a small family business with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, and more than 20 years installing Helifix structural repair systems.
Our story
John Bowness has worked in construction his whole life. After starting out in the Lake District, he worked across Europe and became a Helifix specialist in the UK. His projects ranged from heritage buildings damaged by tunnelling to large commercial sites.
Bowsan Property Repairs specialises in all forms of structural repairs and reinforcement. We're committed to cost-effective solutions that cause little disruption and are installed to the highest standard. Apprenticeship
John Bowness starts his first apprenticeship in England's Lake District and goes on to work in construction across Europe, studying with the Chartered Institute of Building.

As supervisor for Mayson Brothers, a Helifix Approved Installer, John leads Helifix work on Whitehaven Sports Centre, St Andrews Church in the Lake District, and tunnelling-damaged heritage homes in Workington.
